You monitor usage and adjust stock parameters in the system (Material Requirement Planning)
- You proactively analyze procurement proposals from our inventory management system to optimize availability
- Manage the equipment purchase process in order to replenish our inventory
- You can ensure the data management of new materials and proactively analyze replacement products in consultation with the relevant departments
- You act as an interface between our suppliers, internal customers, and the inspection body (if applicable) to ensure that the equipment supplied complies with specifications.
To do this, you are responsible for:
➢ Solve and monitor technical problems related to the materials production process in collaboration with the inspection body and various departments
➢ Provide technical advice on tendering and during production for standard materials
➢ Managing the codifications of new materials
➢ Negotiate contracts with suppliers in collaboration with the buyers
Jouw profiel
- A bachelor's degree preferably in a technical field
- A first professional experience, preferably in an industrial environment is a plus but not necessary.
- A strong interest in in-depth technical knowledge of materials used in the industrial sector (petrochemicals, piping, boiler making)
- Critical thinking, logical vision, and rigor/precision in your work
- Areal team spirit allowing you to create links between different departments
- Proactivity and ability to solve problems and find solutions
- Excellent knowledge of French, Dutch and English
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus but not necessary.
